Feedstock / Raw Material Requirements
Suitable Feedstock Types : Wood chips, wood pellets, coconut shells, nut shells, crop residues (briquetted).
Optimum Moisture Content : 15% (Crucial for maintaining gas quality and thermal efficiency).
Feedstock Size Range : 10 mm – 30 mm (Perfectly matched with our anti-jamming feeding system).
Logistics & Utility Requirements
Shipping & Logistics : 100% Containerized Design. The main gasifier body (3m height) and flare pipe are detached for shipping. All remaining core purification lines, dynamic filters, heat exchangers, the 50kW gas generator set, and the PLC control cabinet are fully pre-integrated and wired onto a single steel skid base, perfectly fitting into standard shipping containers.
On-Site Assembly Time: ≤4 Hours (Bolt-on flange connection, no site-welding required).
Footprint / Dimensions : Approx. 6000mm *2200 mm *3100 mm.
Power Supply for Auxiliaries : 380V/50Hz (or 460V/60Hz), 3-Phase.
Foundation Requirement: Flat concrete pad capable of supporting 3 – 5 Tons.
Why Two-Stage Down-draft Design?
Traditional down-draft gasifiers rely on a single air intake, causing pyrolysis and oxidation to happen in the same zone. This often results in incomplete tar cracking and high tar content in the raw gas.
Our Advanced Two-Stage Down-draft Fixed Bed completely re-engineers the thermal process by splitting the reaction into two independent, precisely controlled zones:
Stage 1: Top Pyrolysis & Air Injection
Biomass enters from the top and undergoes uniform pyrolysis. A controlled amount of primary air is injected here to maintain a stable, lower-temperature charring zone.
Stage 2: Secondary Air Internal Injection & High-Temp Cracking
Secondary air is dynamically injected directly into the throat/reduction zone. This creates a localized ultra-high temperature zone ($950℃~1050℃). As the volatile tar gases are forced to pass through this intense thermal zone and the hot charcoal bed, more than 99% of heavy tar molecules are permanently cracked into clean, combustible gases (H2 and CO).
Ultra-Low Tar Outflow :
By decoupling pyrolysis and oxidation, the raw gas tar content is minimized right at the source, drastically reducing the workload of the downstream filter and condenser.
Stable Engine Operation :
The synergy of the Two-Stage Gasifier and our Smart Dynamic Biomass Filter ensures the gas tar content stays 20 mg/Nm³, ensuring the gas engine runs smoothly without sticky valve issues.
Higher Cold Gas Efficiency :
Instead of wasting energy by condensing heavy tars into hazardous liquid waste, our two-stage system cracks tars into useful CO and H2, giving you more kWh of electricity per kg of wood chips.
